non-turbo 4 rotor 590 HP street car from New Z-land.
The car runs mid 10s and has 590hp @ 8500 rpm with
NO boost & NO NOS!
EFI Hardware = 55mm IDA throtle bodies mounted on
custom intake manifold, eight 550cc/minute injectors,
45 litre custom fuel cell, two Bosh motorsport fuel pumps,
SX pressure regulator, eigth Bosh ignition coils Controled
by an Autronic ECU ..rx7 sereis 6 parts... (Rotors, housings,
center and side plates ..The car runs standard s6 box just
an uprated fly wheel and cluch, standard locked diff with
spool and 4.77 final drive...hookin\' up on Mickey
T\'s ET streets. Also the has standard brakes and suspension.

seen it, sounds scary. Crazy the stock gears can take 590hp worth of punishment.

Sounds like an F1 at WOT!! Crazy. Im starting to wonder if that is the 4rotor from the Madza race car. 787B for the GT heads :D

My eyes went wide when I saw that thing go and the only thing I could think of was that it sounded exactly like the F1 car. Definitely need to keep up with this car.

Screw turbo. Nobody needs to burn their engine up with that crap. Not to mention some form of tubo lag will suck. NA is the way to go (eventhough i dont mind turbo:p )

Actually lots of ppl dont mind taking the risk to blow their motors up. I have lost 3 due to turbo probs.
Proper fuel maps almost always ensure long happy life. I always got greedy and turned the boost up more than I should have knowing I couldnt compensate with enough fuel. Properly set-up, there aren\'t problems.
Turbo lag isnt always a big problem either, espescially on a race car. Turbo lag usually is only a problem on street cars.
NA is fun within it\'s own rights, even more so when you race and beat a FI guy. :D

What exactly is an NA engine?

NA = Naturally Aspirated (brute strength from engine tuning (bore/stroke etc..)
FI = Forced Induction (Turbo/Supercharger)
