Can someone please explain to me the female psyche in how they are different?
Like my wife the other day was in her underwear and the door bell rang. Well she couldn\'t go to the door of course because she was in her underwear. Yet she has no problem going to the beach or the pool in a bathing suit.
What\'s the difference?

Probably because you expect to see people in bathing suits at the beach - how would u feel if a guy answered the door to u in a pair of speedos? =]

True that. I wear shorts and such during the summer. I don\'t strut around in my boxers but gym shorts with no shirt is a given.

The bigger question is would you have wanted your wife to answer the door in her underwear and panties?

well think about it, some bras are lacey, not as think material so you can make out there nipples, and other parts ...... also some have semi see through stuff, while bathing suit is thicker, and have protection, so things arent as visible

I\'m talking about regular bras. Most bras nowdays have support and aren\'t all lacey and crap. I know you have a victoria\'s secret catalog under your matress. Look at it.

My guess would be that they think underwear are just "under-wear" you wear them under things and so it is drilled in womens heads that it is "improper" to be seen in thier underwear.
