Why you say that?  It\'s already due now.  Anyways, no reason thinking about it because once it does happen that will be extinction for humans.

Well the span is at least 600k years and up to quite a bit more.

I doubt it will extinct humans. There were human like creatures (ancestors) when it last erupted. They survived. But there was a big population decrease because of it (actually it was Krackatoa, which I think is equal or smaller or bigger. I don\'t know much about this). I heard from a friend they closed Yellowstone. Is this true?
