Title: David Hasselhoff is busy recording his first hip hop album in LA
Post by: luckee on May 29, 2004, 10:24:24 PM: Knight Rider, Baywatch and German music superstar (ahem) David Hasselhoff is busy recording his first hip hop album in LA.

The 51-year-old actor, who, bizarrely, has a hugely successful career as a rock singer in Germany, is teaming up with rap legend Ice-T for the project.

"The man is a legend," Ice T told The Sun. "And we are going to show a whole new side of him. He\'s gonna come out as Hassle The Hoff - I promise you. The Hoff will surprise people with his rap skills and humour."

Hasselhoff famously performed his signature song Looking For Freedom (which spent 8 weeks at No.1 in Germany) at the destruction of the Berlin Wall in 1989, but his most recent UK exposure has been the Sky TV ads alongside former EastEnder Mike Reid. He\'s also said to be working on a movie version of Knight Rider.

One thing is for sure tho, he is certainly better than Hung.

This has got to be by far the dumbest and funniest $#!t ive heard in a long time. I mean I respect ice t and no matter how many people hate him, ive liked him, but what the hell is he thinking? A 50 something y/o rapper. Not to mention that hes white and was on baywatch!

I have got to see this.

Have you seen one of his music video? There is this one where he is flying through the air like Superman… horrendous comes to mind, but it\'s funny at the same time. :laughing:
