nice show, Fantómas kicked a lot of ass but the crowd wasn\'t into them, most of this mtv generation only waiting to hear ya\'ll want a single egh, but they kicked ass none the less.
Korn actually surprised me, a lot heavier than I was expecting and I was happy with their playlist, alot of stuff from the first two albums, everybody did their stuff nicely, although mr.head kept breaking strings or something because he was constantly switching guitars in the middle of the songs.
All in all I\'m pretty happy about the show, got my tickets to see Metallica in July and trying to score tickets to see Deep Purple next month.

I kinda figured a Korn crowd wouldn\'\'t be too into Fantomas.

I recently saw Radiohead live.
Now that was an amazing experience. Made every other band I\'ve seen live look like amateurs.
Save, perhaps, A Perfect Circle. They were almost as good.

I saw Korn and Disturbed when they came to Austin, it was a pretty good show, Disturbed was crazy.

Yeah dude, Disturbed sucks real hard.
"Ohh, Waa-a-a-a!"
And lets not forget the incredible, deep lyric...
"Get up, come on, get down with the sickness"
Man, I hate that band.

Bleh, they sucked as bad as Queens of the Stone Age when I saw them. Incubus was bad too, but Audioslave.... thats a true concert band. Every song was badass, maybe it was just the crowd because Chris Cornell said "it kicked his Seattle ass."

I saw queens live as well and I gotta agree they sucked hard. Probably the worst live show i\'ve ever been to. They opened up for Zwan, which was almost nearly as crappy.
But the ticks were free so no big loss.

Small venue shows are almost always better than large venue ones.

Disturbed puts on a decent show, but the music sucks.

Killswitch Engage put on an amazing show when I saw them this weekend. It was in their home town area, so that really added to the experience.
I love when there is really crowd interaction, and it actually goes both ways. A good example of that was when I saw Opeth this year. Mikael Akerfeldt basically conversed with the fans between songs, answering some questions that were asked by the crowd and just generally talking as if it were a normal conversation. So great when that can happen with such an amazing band.

that was something that was sorely missing from Korn\'s performance, probly the most unpersonal show I\'ve every seen barely even said a word to the crowd, Mike Patton talked alot though, made a few jokes and whatnot.
I\'ve been hearing stories though that after the concert somebody stole one of Munky\'s guitars, don\'t know if it\'s true or not.

Mike Patton is so awesome words cannot describe.

Yah, gotta agree with Mike Patton. He deserves a reward, \'cos he\'s the best fuck that I ever had. And if he tightens up his hole, you may never see the light again.
Meanwhile, I saw Disturbed live a while ago. A friend asked me to go, so I did, despite never being that big of a fan. I thought it was good at the time, but after seeing RH and APC, they seem like wannabes.
Vivi, do you like Radiohead? For mine, they were so unbelievable. Every song was better than the last (There, there. and Idioteque were probably the two highlights). Plus the entire crowd just hung off of everything Thom Yorke did. He was dancing around, playing with the cameras mounted around the stage (and on the piano [there were a couple of screens on either side of the stage]). Talk about an eccentric lead, it was hysterical. Plus every song sounded perfect. Except Paranoid Android, they changed the line from "What\'s thiiiiis?" to "What\'s thaaat?", and it just didn\'t sound the same.
