I ****in love GN\'s and GNX\'s
I swear thats going to be my next project car!!!
-
what kind of engines were in those
-
3.8l V6 turbos. As far as the GNX was concerned, it was the fastest production vehicle untill they discontinued it.
GM couldnt have a Buick Regal faster than it\'s flagship Corvette. Hell, or even its Firebird\'s and Camaros.
-
no im mean in the vids
those looked and sounded alot bigger than a turbo v6
-
Probably BUILT turbo 3.8l V6\'s :)
Those motors have soooo much potential and can sound MONSTEROUS.
-
We have one in our shop. We\'ve had it on our show a couple times. Pretty fun car. FOr a redneck car that is.
-
This GN has a Pro Stock Truck\'s V8 (http://ncchelp.com/cars/ChrisTTGN.wmv) Hear the difference? :)

I find them all of the time, I just don\'t think they are worth the $20K plus I see them for. :D
Hell, even alot of the GN\'s are still $13k give or take. :(

You see GNX\'s all over the place? I hardly see them - but you are right they command at least $20K - they were the fastest American production car in 1987 if I remember correctly.
Ever think about getting a Regal T Type? You could probably find that for less with the same engine.
-
Thats the last resort if I can\'t find a GN that is in reasonable shape for a reasonable amount of money.
Thats still a ways off though. I have two projects going now that are taking all of my money.
