.....as far as CG affects go. And mean, the cloud affects were visually stunning! The giant tsunami waves were scary!
The story sucked. Out of 10, I give it a 4.
10 for visuals.
0 for story.
I give it a 4 instead of a 5 coz it cost me $18 to see it (for two people).
-
Yeah thats the same as all the reviews i have read on it.
Top marks for visuals.
Piss poor for story.[sp]about a Dad saving his son[/sp]
Going to see it anyway just for the visuals.
Might leave half way when the crappy "story" kicks in.

I hope your theatre has a discounted matinee show. It\'s visually stunning. However, if you leave out common sense and knowledge of basic science at the door, you might enjoy it. I sort\'ve did.....but the story was still a dung heap.
I\'d rather watch Dawn of the Dead remake for worldwide catastrophe. :p

On BBC Radio 4... a group of reviewers commented on...
[sp]The Fact you see LA ripped apart by Giant twisters… near 100% loss of life… and then just shortly… its announced that there is little lose of life on the western sea board ….
The BBC panel also found the fact that’s it’s a Rupert Murdoch film and all the news is covered by SKY news reporters…and they all get wiped out one by one…VERY funny indeed.
The bunch of SICKO’s

Worst movie ever. After all sorts of horrible stuff happening all over the world, the scientist talks to the VP and gets told, basically, buzz off. We\'ll just keep ignoring you until it gets worse (ice age worse).
-
yeah, crap, that movie had so much potential! but they totaly ****ed it up.
The political end of the film was way too obvious and unrealistic reactions from those in charge.
The smart-ass student with the blonde curly hair, WORST CHARACTER EVER! he pissed me off.
I dont know, nothing about the story or dialouge was good, everything was half-assed except for the CG.

I payed 9bucks to see this and the story was one of the worst I have the seen. Effects where great just a damn awful story.
-
I paid nothing for it, like 6 bucks for things to eat and drink and whatnot, and had like a freaking front row seat...the place was packed, and my neck still hurts, but outside of that, it wasn\'t bad for a free movie.
The only thing that sucked was the fact that I lost my damn wallet there. I think I\'ll blame the movie for it, since everyone else hates it. Did like the special effects, though. Crazy shit.
See Yuz.

looks like i\'ll be getting the bootleg dvd.:p seriously tho..movies like this should focus on random individuals instead of having a main character,.show the disaster from different angles from different people..some may die some may survive...when you see joints like this you know the main character isn\'t gonna die or that cute 5 to 10 yr old child isn\'t gonna go under..even the family dog...
i haven\'t seen the movie, but goin on from disaster flicks from the past, they seem to have the same theme over and over as far as characters go...

If I ever make a disaster flick I\'ll be sure to kill off the little kid first. Punk ruins every disaster movie.
-
Yeah, and all of the good people must die.
