trying to explaing ANYTHING to a drunk.  I just had an hour long discussion trying to explain my pay scale to a drunk.  I\'m changing from having my checks (I have no work in the summer because I work at a school) stretched over 10 months to having them stretched over 11 months.  The drunk kept saying, "you\'ll have less money every month" and then I said that I would get paid the money that is taken out in August....but they couldn\'t understand that high level math.  God damn I\'m still fuming with frustration.

well if you get paid 11,000... then he would have originally gotten 1,000 a month for 11 months. but now he\'s gonna get 1,100 a month over 10 months.

or something

exactly what I said, except reverse (I now am on a 11 month schedual) and it didn\'t help.

I wrote it out on paper, hell I tried to use cheerios to illustrate it.

BUt if you get paid over 10 months and take out the money that they would be taking out to give you your eleventh month, and invested it.

THen you would be better off than letting the government hold your money and give it to you in August.

yeah, completly wasted.  To that point where they get the droopy eyes and could pass out any second.

You know technically from what you said the drunk was right... you will get less money every month I mean sure you getting the same amount of money for the year. Its all a matter of perception.

yeah, but they couldn\'t understand the fact that the money that is being taken away each month is given to me in one of my non-payed months.
