Post by: Knotter8 on June 08, 2004, 05:25:40 AM: Sounds like a sort of hype similair to Killzone. That\'s not a bad thing perse, becuz imo they\'re both gonna be very good games.

It is also testamony and proof that such fps games with FX which sort of simulate or emulate high end PC stuff like HL2\'s Havoc engine, can indeed be done succesfully on the PS2 console.

So, I guess now we\'re beginning to see what expierenced dev teams can get out of PS2, performance-wise. Imo, Black makes Guerilla\'s achievement all the more viable. There was and still is quite some stretch in PS2.

Post by: Ginko on June 08, 2004, 07:10:02 AM: There\'s still alot to do with the game including implenting A.I. and deeper gameplay mechanics...those could make or break the game. Still waiting for a verdict on Killzone concerning A.I., it looks quite shoddy at this point.

That first fuzzy screenshot looks very nice and it sounds incredible.

when anything says halo killer - its just a load of hype i tell ya - why not say awesome game and holds its own against anything so far instead of drawing on halos popularity

idk i get tired of hearing halo killer on a lot of lame games that are too different to be compared to halo except that they are FPS

there is a pic up there, it just takes like 3 mins to load up. I\'m definately intrigued, but i\'ve gotten pretty good over the years at not getting all worked up over something before I can play it myself.
