so i have this problem with a p2 that i bought from this guy in that it has some parental passcode (i think it says level 9 or something) on it that wont allow me to watch certain rated movies. the thing is, he didn\'t even know it has a passcode on it and has no idea what it is. i was wondering if there was a way to default the settings or something. oh yeah, and i am of age to watch this movies (i.e. i\'m not just a li\'l kid trying to get around their parents\' prohibition).

I used the controller as a remote and I got this menu and I got the parental lock shut off.  I can\'t remember but I\'m sure someone will help you with this a lot more.  I\'m bad at explaining things haha.  Hope that could help you a little.

one way to find out is reading the manual instruction booklet, it tell you how to reset your password.

yeah, theres a password to reset it, though I don\'t remember what it is.
