Title: Is there anyone who really needs a gmail acount?

Seriously..... Tell me that you "need" it I want to give back like Kimahri gave to me but someone who really uses a webbased e-mail. I will PM the person tomorrow who gets the invite.

I have way too many e-mail accounts as it is haha.  I think webmail is more for people that dont know how to set up outlook express on their computer

ya but i know a couple of people who use yahoo acts as the "main" account so this would be good cause its soooo big.

I just wanted a Gmail account because it\'s something new and controversial. I just wanted to be a part of it. That and I needed a new e-mail anyway and might as well try and get a gmail account.

Does Gmail allow you to access it via POP?

I could use one with my mobile phone otherwise (my ISP Email blocks the Mobile phone company that I use).

Is it fast?  Like if I have a 10meg file on the account can it be downloaded quickly or they still working out the bugs?

no to pop and Im not sure about speed but it is from google Im sure they have good bandwidth

I really do need a gmail account. My friends and family are always sending me pics through email and since I reinstalled windows I lost my incredimail account.

Well, I use web based mail as my mail account right now.  I mainly use my yahoo account.  My mail from my school address actually gets redirected there because I\'m using my server space at school for other things.  I have to transfer files between computers a lot, and the main way I do that is through e-mail, when I\'m able to and when the file size permits it.  Having a gmail account would just allow me to do that much more easily.  I\'ve also been meaning to get a new account anyway because I\'ve been having problems with yahoo.  I actually ran out of blockable addresses :(  So yeah, something like that would be very useful for me, and I\'d be really appreciative.

Stupid Yahoo mail sent the invitation to bulk mail so I didn\'t see it at first.  *shakes fist*
