I have some stock in Palm ONe. Damn thing finally took off today and landed 36% up. It\'s now at 29. Look at the charts and tell me if I should sell.
We\'re only talking a couple grand here. If I had tens of thousands I\'d probably drop a couple grand of it here, but I\'m not in it deep at all.
Just curious at who will guess right.
My Sirius has never come close to 2 dollars since I sold it for 2 dollars. Damn I suck. It\'s been over 3 bucks since a couple weeks after I sold it almost a year ago.

Stocks don\'t tend to fluctuate wildly from up to down from one day to the next. I would just hold on until it plateaus. Of course.. try and keep ahead of any important news announcements.

if I had money, Id be ready to invest in google!

Nah.. by doing this with bidding to set the initial price, I have a feeling that many people (like you) will end up inflating the initial price beyond what it\'s truly worth. When it comes crashing back to reality... anyone in during the early days will be screwed. I\'m gonna jump in after it crashes though.

I have stock in Coca-cola and it split once, but I\'ve had it for about 4 years now. Doing bleh right now, just another company to drop a thousand or two when you\'re young, let it sit, then take it out when I\'m old and settle down with an asian male prostitute.
I\'m far from a broker, but I\'d let it sit Viddy.

For now, I just stick to my mutual funds... matched 50% by my employer...
Its value has gone up $10k in 6 months... finally recovering what I lost due to 9/11 and that enron shit...
Oh, and Vid- I would like to quote Mr. Dangerfield...
"SELL, SELL, SELL!!!! WHAT?!?! EVERYONE\'S SELLING?!?! THEN BUY, BUY, BUY!!!!"
:D

ah, it\'s at 33 now. Dang this blows. I wish I had a ton of it, I\'d dump that shit.

Woohoo 38.76...... I\'m so glad I don\'t listen to my own stock advice. Holding strong!!!!

I was a broker when I first graduated college - the stock market is nothing more than legalized gambling.

I agree. I lost tens of thousands when the stock market fell in 01. I have most everything in money markets so that\'s no big deal. I just play with this money. I started with 2 grand and went down to 300 real freaking quick. Now I am back up to where I started.
I\'m not playing with real money though. That\'s what Vanguard is for. :)

Smart man - I just had to reply when you mentioned you are sort of a chart watcher. ;)
