4-5 months after after the NTSC release. Now what caused this big delay?
According to UbiSoft, SCEE refused to authorize the release because the game was so buggy. On the European Norrath site it says PAL Norrath will have all the bugs fixed that were present in the NTSC version.
We are well aware that the delayed release of Champions of Norrathof was a great disappointment for many players. The release was postponed to allow us to fix a number of bugs present in the US version, especialy in the online mode and we can now assure you the UK version will be bug-free, regardless of the chosen mode. Champions, hone your swords, fasten your armour and get ready to fight hordes of blood-thirsty creatures with up to 3 friends both on and off-line!

This update is just to inform you guys about the status of the game.
Ubisoft has now received the Champions of Norrath game in our warehouse and it will be shipped out and reach the stores as promised the 25th of june. I hope you all will enjoy the game.

The demo contained a pretty boring map, did you get to the one in the woods? Much better, thats how Norrath is supposed to be played. ;)

Good game, much better than Dark Alliance.
But it is quite buggy, only as far as slowdown is concerned. Weird thing is, it never happens while there\'s lots of action on screen. It\'s seemingly random. For example, there\'s more slowdown when you\'re perusing the items for sale in the shops in co-op then there is at any other point of the game.
BTW, the slowdown doesn\'t really detract from the game that much, but it\'s quite noticable. Anyways, very fun game.

You are playing the PAL version?
I didn’t get mine today because of the damn midsummer festival CRAP.
Must wait until MONDAY.. My weekend is ruined! FU SWEDEN.

Wow! Your just getting it now. The games awesome, has some slowdown here in there, it\'s cool to know they fixed the slowdown bug for the European release. It didn\'t happen all the time, but it was noticeable. Excellent game, random dungeons, etc.

Got it to day....
and me and the Wife have been playing it together for the past 6 hours.... taking a brake and then back for some more action :D.

Norrath does, indeed ROCK MY BOXXORZ (its been a while since I said that.).
I have been playing Norrath all day, had a little go on the online mode but I want to complete the game offline first to avoid spoilers.
Very fun game, much better then BGDA so far.. A few slowdowns here and there, a little annoying but its nothing horrible.
Very nice graphics, the caves look amazing.
I just got started on Act II, Act I seemed very long compared to BGDA, must have spent 4-5 hours on Act I alone.
Im playing as a Barbarian male (ever heard of a barbarian woman btw? :p ), made him look as Viking:ish as possible.. Then I heard his awful Scottish accent.. ;) (kidding ooseven :D )

we are on ACT 3
Would play online... if it wasn\'t for AOL\'s Piss Poor PS2 conpatability :mad:.
p.s.
That "scottish accent" is about as Scottish as Scotty from Star Trek :D.

I was playing this yesterday and we were in act 5 and saving souls in the halls of dispair, but we saved the souls without touching the portal in that area,so once we\'d finished it took us back to the plain of air and now we are stuck with no way of using the portal? Back to the start of the game :rpissed:
and why can\'t player 2 use a gate scoll when player 1 dies? but player 1 can use a gate scroll when player 2 dies?
Also have been stuck in walls and walking on thin air.
Don\'t get me wrong it\'s not a bad game but I thought we had to wait 6 months cause they were fixing the bugs?
