Post by: QuDDus on June 23, 2004, 04:16:25 PM
Now my connections fails. Comcast swears that is not them. Now I had a network through aol it was all fine no problems.

They said I should update the latest drivers for my network card.
How can I do this?

Or you can just go into the device manager.
Then look at network adapters. It should be there. Unless its not installed. Which i doubt.

just look at the back of your pc. If its part of the I/O panel its onboard. If its in the pci section its well pci.  If its onboard check your manual, if its pci open the machine up and check the chipset as mm said.

Still deoesnt make them any smarter I swear to god nurses are dumb as piss.

Sorry where were we.... You have had so many problems with that just pay someone to come out there and fix your shit. I charge 35 bucks and hour and it would be done but your no where close to me are you? Its to hard to diag. these problems without seeing them first hand.

Well there is program for ppl who are taking computer science courses at my school. You can buy certain Ms products for very cheap.  I talked about this on the forum b4.

If you search your own post you\'ll find one of your smart remarks in the thread.

Tupac would have diagnosed his own networking problems, tell you what.  I\'ll bet you anything he didn\'t need the white man to tell him how to open Device Manager.

:p

First of all I know what device manager is how to open it and all the blah...blahhh.

That is not my problem the problem is I think my NIC card has died out and rather than accepting the fact that it has I was hoping there was an alternate solution to troubleshooting my network.

Cause right now I am strapped for cash and didn\'t want to have to buy another card at this present time no matter how cheap it is.
