OK, I\'m getting an HD Tivo so I\'ve been on the Tivo boards. Anyway, there is a dude here that has a deal with direct tv that he pays a certain amount per month. Well if he gets a new HD Tivo they give him a new deal, but it\'s 3 dollars more a month.

Yep, 3 bucks.

Anyway, he can justify buying the $1000 unit, but not the 3 dollar a month increase.

read some of his posts. I\'ve never seen someone so pussy whipped.

And yes, I\'m videoholic over there too. ;)

Anyway... :) I was pissed as hell when DirecTV moved all the HD channels to a special package and charged extra for them. I didn\'t buy them, and I don\'t think I will. I only get HBO HD, and OTA stuff. I would like to try TIVO, but I am not gonna spend $1,000 for it to retain my HD capabilities. The whole stinkin\' system is farked up if you ask me.
