He\'s been the longest running contestant for a while now, no one can dethrone the guy.
Each show he wins an easy $25-50k and he\'s about to break the $1M mark. Right now @ $972,960.
-
I bet he can\'t program his old VCR. But he\'s a hell of a lot richer than I am, that stupid STUPID man!
-
He looks a bit of a geek. Good luck to him.
-
He done an interview recently and said he wanted to spend every bit on DVD\'s...No joke.
-
That doesnt sound like words of wisdom...
I love DVD\'s top, but damn! no new car? No nice house? NAAAHH DVD\'s are the way to go! Thats a shit load of DVD\'s

Don\'t you think he\'s used his smarts to earn him some cash already?
-
crazy....
-
Wow I can\'t believe he is still going. I bet he walks into every show just after walking up from a night of partying w/ previous winnings, hits the buzzer a few times on the big questions and then laughs at the losing contestants when he wins.
-
Nah, he\'s mormon.
He wakes up after a night of regular missionary position procreation with his wife, pat\'s his kids on the head and calculates the amount of tithe money he owes the church from his winnings.
-
I should play on Jeapordy just so I could get the lowest negative $ amount ever. :D Then I\'d blame it on the buzzer.

Go for it. If you\'re in negative, do they make you pay?

Are you really that stupid?

There is a difference between super intelligent and super logical.

One dumb post as opposed to the many dumb posts you make. Apparently, you don\'t know the concept of sarcasm and a simple joke.

he broke a jillion

How\'s that for a month\'s work? A million bux! I\'d have sex with him for $900,000 and pay someone to kill him afterwards.

Did he win tonight? I sat down to check it out for the first time tonight and we lost the satellite signal to a rain storm. He was struggling to keep up leading to the first commercial break..

It\'s funny. I was looking at articles and poeple were like, "What is Jeopardy going to do to stop this?"
DO they not realize that they give away about 30 grand every single day?
It doesn\'t matter that one guy is winning it. It\'s going out anyway.
Freaking doofuses. Plus, 90% of America probably didn\'t even realize Jeopardy was still on.
-
Turd Ferguson.

I usually hate watching Jeopardy, but now I watch it every chance I get just to see this guy wail(sp?) on his competition. :) It\'s funny how this is the first season where contestants get to play until they lose (before they had a 5 day limit for how long you could stay).
videoholic, I really don\'t think they give away 30 thousand a day usually. You really have to kick your competitions\' butts, and make sure you don\'t miss a lot of questions to get that high, something that usually doesn\'t happen. But I\'m sure Jeoperdy doesn\'t mind -- their ratings are probably much much higher than before. (I jokingly told my family that Jeoperdy was probably giving this guy the answers just to get the ratings up. :))
And I think it\'s funny how he has had the chance to break the record for most money won in a day, but on two different occasions he chose to tie it instead ($52,000 I think). He\'s just playing with us!!! Can\'t he just bet one more dollar?

Watch out, that mohawk has made spudz into a hardcore badass
*runs away from the Alaskan ASSasin
-
I\'m stupid.
I could care less, too.
:o

Spuds, e...whatever. Dude, you live on the edge of the freaking universe. The toughest bastards you have there are rabid Eskimos. Seriously man, you have no idea what the real world is like. You think your tough but you can pick any city in the mainland and pull that b.s. in the getto. I guarantee you wont last a day. I\'ve looked through some old posts to and came across a picture of you.... Quit your macho crap, it doesnt impress anybody...just makes you flaim bait. If your having resentment because mommy or daddy raped you as a child then go get help...but your such a joke. I must be kidding myself, this post was useless.

Oh snap, you got served yo
-
I watched it last night. THe guy pretty much cruised right on through. I wonder how far ahead they tape these things. I wonder how far he ends up going.
-
In the States you gotta pay taxes for lottery and gameshow winnings right? So how much does he take home so far?
-
It\'s income. He will be taxed at a very high rate. He still has about 500 grand though take home.

I didn\'t, and I used to watch it a lot. What channel or network does it come on?

ABC at 7pm. Wheel of Fortune follows at 7:30...
-Dan
-
I am watching it now. 33 days it\'s pre-taped so I assume the guy won since there was know news of him losing.
While I wonder how long he can go on.
-
I heard that the end of this season is this Friday. Is this true? I haven\'t been able to watch all week, so I have no idea. Apparently he\'ll get to continue playing when the new season starts in October...
-
Yeah, Tribek said that last night. One more show.
-
Ken capped off the season by obliterating the one-day winnings record. Going into the final question he was only $600 from the $52,000 record which he\'s already tied thre or four times.
Instead of tying it up, he walked away with another $75,000.
He\'s well over $1.2 million and he\'ll be back in six weeks to sweep an entire season of Jeopardy. :)

-
While this guy is really building up the ratings for the show.
Before this I thought tribek had died.
-
Jeopardy returns from hiatus this Monday, and Ken Jennings will resume kicking ass. :) I guess I\'ll start watching. Is it true that he owns his opponents with his quick buzzer style? I usually find that I know about 60% - 70% of the answers on Jeopardy, but I would probably go down in flames for not being able to hit the buzzer quickly enough.
Two weeks of new episodes, and then another hiatus for a special tournament.

Yeah, a lot of times you see other people pressing the buzzer, but they\'re always too slow. The problem is that Ken Jennings has been on the show for so long that he doesn\'t get the jitters newcomers most likely get. And he has the timing for the buzzer down perfectly. He gets nearly every question right, so his main concern is beating his apponents to the buzzer.
-
It was on last night and he won again..
Ken Jennings kicked off season 21 of Jeopardy! with another impressive win. During the exciting first episode, Ken managed his 39th win, bringing in $10,001. His total earnings now stand at $1,331,661!
-
Thanks, I already read that in a wire service story, Mr. Copy-and-Paste. :p
-
wire service????
I went to the source:

I won $60 dollars playing in a \'Guess Who\' tourney once.
-
Final Jeopardy was so easy today. I knew the answer, and I can\'t believe Ken blew it on that one. If the other dude had built up enough cash to challenge in Final Jeopardy, he could have whipped him on that question.
-
What was the question?

Sorry, I\'m going to need that in the form of a question.

The final jeopardy question yesterday was something like:
SUBJECT: War Movies
"A famous 1979 film set in the Vietnam war was based on this author\'s 1902 novel."
-
What is Apocolapse Now?
-
"this author\'s 1902 novel..."
-
Joseph Conrad, Heart of Darkness.
Never read it, though. Just learned about it in my high school film class. :)

Aww shoot. You win again. I\'ll get you Bobbo, just you wait....
Received any mail lately from somebody you dunno?

Dude is still playing. He\'s over 1.8 million. Actually he might be at 1.9 now. I didn\'t see last night.
