Just wondering if anyone has been to the Dominican Republic.
If so, what was their impression of the beaches, snorkeling etc.
I leave in four days so look out Rum here I come. :dance:

wish i could help but the only semi similar places ive been to are the Bahamas, Jamaica and Cancun. Im sure you\'ll have fun though.

Jamaica and Bahamas is all I\'ve been to as well.  Both a blast.

I have only been to the surrounding states of Mississippi, so I really have no idea why I posted...I will go think on that one.

My boss has been to punta cana twice, and one other place in the DR. He loved it. the reef trips were great, according to him...also, there are some cool ruins near one of the places, I guess. You sort of have to be adventurous/stupid to leave your resort complex these days. You could be kidnapped for ransom.
