Post by: videoholic on July 26, 2004, 06:06:14 AM
I\'m trying to find good trvia about paint.  Mainly in the automotive field.  Like what\'s the most common color to repaint your car? does the color of the car really effect the interior temperature?  How long does it take for bug splooge to eat your paint?

Pretty much anything.  I know you guys are good with finidng crap on the internet so if you could help, great.  Otherwise, SUCK IT YOU MOTHER F(@!(*))_(8!!!!!

I could ask around, I know a few people who know a bunch about cars. What do you need to know this for anyway?

Nice stuff.  Thanks...

Can\'t anyone tell me if the interior temperature of the car is different between a white car and a red car?

I would assume so considering the red paint is going to absorb more light energy than the white paint.

Ugh, they are asking me again for this crap.  I still can\'t find a darn thing.  This huge internet and no one has a site dedicated to paint trivia.

Ah, I could start one and open my own IPO.

I could make billions!!!

Brake fluid is a common Vandals method for damaging paint work due to both ...

A) its corrosive nature

and

B) The viscosity of the fluid makes it hard to clean up without cause yet more damage.
