... That\'s it basically. Im looking for a new monitor..
-
Nope, "Super VGA" which basically is a set of graphics stadards that describe common resolutions used by computers.
-
The thing you may be thinking about is DVI which is more of a flat panel monitor standard then it is for CRT monitors. DVI is definitely the way to go if you are purchasing a flat panel monitor. You\'ll also want the refresh rates to be around 16ms as well. Anything higher then that is poor for gaming.
-
I think SVGA means the resolution is 800 x 600.
i can\'t remember those names but here are my guesses:
VGA - 640 x 480
SVGA - 800 x 600
XVGA - 1024 x 768
?? - 1280 x 1024
UDVGA? - 1600 x 1200....
-
here you go paul - SXGA 1280x 1024
-
thank you nvidia256.
-
have not seen you for a while here paul2, what\'s new under the sun?
-
If u want flat panel go for one with good pixel response times (12-13ms) and a refresh rates (60 - 75hz)
Then it\'ll be fine for gaming.
Or just go CRT. Then its just about how big u want the monitor and how fast u want the refresh rates.
-
Oh no not this discussion again:p

(to thought i been avoiding this pixel response and refresh rate thingy...here it goes again)
*me runs and hide....quick*
