Im too lazy to go to a guitar forum and create an account for a stupid question. Plus i know people here play guitar.
Anyway, how do you tune ur guitar to have everything flat (Eb Bb Gb etc.)
My tuner only lets me tune sharp notes. Would holding the third fret on a string and matching it with the higher string make it flat? Kind of how holding the 5th fret makes it normal. Then just use 5th fret after i got the first string flat.

If it has nothin but sharps, just go one letter down that is sharp. So Eb will be D#
Bb A# etc

To tune a guitar one semitone flat, you simply fret each string at the first fret, and then tune the guitar with the string fretted. You can do it one string at a time, or use a capo.
Say the guitar is already properly tuned. You fret the bass E string at the first fret. The tuner hears F, and tells you you need to tune down one semitone. When you release the string, the note will be E flat instead of E.
I used to tune down all the time to play Stevie Ray Vaughan songs.
