That is one of the most convoluted round-about I\'ve ever seen! And I\'ve been through some bad ones in many cities in North America!

Since this is my field I will try and answer this:
I agree with you Gman, I think traffic lights would have been the logical choice here, but I don\'t know the LOS (Level of Service) of the road. LOS is the volume of traffic on any given road with an A through F scale. A being hardly any traffic and F being gridlock.
They might want to keep the traffic flow moving, but being Alaska I don\'t think the LOS on any road would be more than a C. I would be interested to see the accident reports on the anniversary after these "traffic circles" open.

I\'d like to see them go through these round abouts in the packed snow. :D

You guys have Round-a-bouts ?
next you will be telling me you guys have corners on your Roads....What with the fact that most US cars have leaf spring suspension:laughing:.

In Arizona, road bends are rare. But in the East Coast, it\'s almost as bad as your wrong side driving roads. :p

man i detest roundabouts, getting better at them but seriosuly u have to have a sixth sense during rush hour

Here in Jersey, they are pretty deadly. No New Jersey driver knows who to yield for, atleast what I\'ve noticed. I hate circles, unless they are signed, but New Jersey drivers are terrible so they disregard the signs. I\'ve almost been hit in these damn things because people have no idea how to drive.

Do people even go to Jersey if it wasn\'t for Atlantic City, Great Adventure and NE states have to pass through to get to sates that matter...like Florida?
:p
