Title: Looks like a decent movie
Post by: QuDDus on August 07, 2004, 07:10:36 PM: Saw the trailer for jet li hero. Looks pretty good. I heard there is a
NTSC DVD of the movie for purchase. I have searched the net and have not been able to fine it.

The movie hits theaters 08/27/04
Should be good.

The vivid colors are nice and the story is decent. It\'s definitely worth a look.

I hated the fight in the water though. I know it\'s an "art" film, but bah, it looks stupid, imo.

Post by: THX on August 07, 2004, 10:38:59 PM: I\'ve had this movie for over a year now, a very good transfer imo. Awesome fight scenes but the story is a tad weak, pretty much the usual for chop socky flicks.

Worth a blind buy if you\'re a Jet Li fan.

Ehh....

I think they are a bit too different though. I liked Kill Bill better, however.

So yea, they are too different to directly compare :D

I wouldnt even consider buying this on film now or before, after hearing about its theatrical re release. Its always a better experience in a theater, and it only happens once (usually).
