heh..the wifey just called me at work to say..that jim mcgreevy (spell) the govenor of new jersey is stepping down because of his homosexual affair with a man :p...this cat was married with kids,..makin\' commericials with the wifey in it,...that just F**ked up..i don\'t have any links,..but it should be on tv as i\'m typing this...
she stated there was a conference on tv with him practically cryin\' about it...sheeit..if you\'re livin\' that lifestyle why try & hide that shit from your family?

I read this on a friends away message. I jumped for joy. I was hoping this jerk would leave one day. He was a terrible governor. So many taxes. Now NJ will shape up a bit.

He did some sneaky stuff too. My dad is very against McGreevey and he knows a lot more than I do. I\'m more into National politics than State politics. I know he put more of his friends into office than people that deserved it (the spoil system) and the taxes were more under the table than out in the open. Not 100% sure of most of this though. Clips may be able to clear it up better. Nothing good happened in my state because of this guy.

:laughing: hilarious!..titan..i actaually haven\'t heard anything really bad about mcgreevy,..he taxed the rich and pretty much left the low- middle working class alone....there was one govenor that was prcatically the worst in n.j. history..and that was florio...i don\'t know if remember him, but i do he stated he was going to lower car ins..and a ton of other s**t...this was one guy that actually did the complete opposite when he got into office....he raised taxes in nj alomost to the point where the state couldn\'t recover from them...

Heh, sit down to talk state politics with my dads side of the family. They HATE McGreevey with a passion. I pick up the negative pretty easily. Plus, I live in a rich town (but I\'m in the middle class neighborhood and I don\'t think my family is affected) and all the rich snobs were pissed at him and complained. If you\'re gonna tax one class, why not tax all of them? Kind of a double standard if you ask me. A lot of the rich people around me worked hard for their wealth and some governor taxes them for the hard work. The ones that got hand me down wealth can kiss my ass :) I have weird beliefs, I know.

i was at first going to say that just because he\'s gay he didn\'t need to step down....but then i heard this cat is involved with some type of lawsuit,..with his lover for harrassment?...also when he was coming out about it on tv..it was almost as if he was proud about it, don\'t get me wrong there\'s nothin wrong with bein gay but given his situation?...
his wife was by his side looking as if she was proud that he confessed,..i don\'t know maybe they\'re both puttin\' up a front, but afterwards they were shown smiling & holding hands going into they\'re car...maybe s**t hit the fan when they got home...

I guess why a lot of people that I know (we were talking about this at work and my boss said the same thing) hate about him is that he gives the government positions to his friends (spoils system) instead of those who worked hard to earn them. He did the same thing when he was mayor. He was sneaky. But again, I live in a rich area. The people I live around (except my family because we\'re middle class) get taxed because they make too much. Doesnt\' make sense to me to tax a certain class.

And he\'s been trying to take development rights and controls away from the local governments and people in my rural county.

I now hear the FBI is investigating the shaky things he did in office. He also might get in deep trouble with this sexual harassment thing with his lover.

Yeah, basically from my understanding his lover was angry at him because he got fired from his government job (wonder how he got that) when this all came out. It\'s really all just a big mess.
Also, wasn\'t his wife practically smiling through his press conference? I heard she didn\'t seem emotional or shocked or anything.
