Post by: Unicron! on August 17, 2004, 02:15:55 AM: I saw the Killzone video as well that was in OPSM2 DVD.Wasnt very impressed.Actually it looked impressive sometimes but many parts werent at all.
In huge open enviroments the framerate seems to be below 30fps.And in some parts there was visible pop up.Even some texture problems.

edit:The DVD demo disc was from the Official PS2 magazine not the PSM2 magazice

Its far from what it was hyped up to be.With other words many will be dissapointed if the framerate and bugs arent fixed.
Btw:I thought the reralistic blurring effect when the characters reload their gun was a part of the game.

But I still dont think a video from a site can show as much as I ve seen from the demo disc that came with the UK official PS2 magazine.It showed 15 minutes of high quality footage from which most of it was gameplay footage.I think it is the same copy the beta testers recieve

Arent those old anyway (e3)?

Now i dont care much about the graphics as much. I just want some original gameplay. Sadly i havent seen much to be admired. It would be nice to throw in some vehicles or maybe some better animations (definately wish they were better).
