That type of attitude might lead to glow in the dark Iranians. Do they not understand that we have missles (sub based) that can hit Iran?
This is one thing I think Bush really got right - Iran, Iraq and N. Korea = axis of evil.
Sure Iraq was the weakest of the three, but given time they would have ended up becoming another Iran and N. Korea.

The bad thing is, Iran is right that they could do some damage to our troops.
This would be very bad for our military and would spread our troops further apart and that\'s pretty bad.
Also, Iran has many loyal religious followers in other countries. Not good.

We would never invade DH - we wouldn\'t want to occupy Iran. If they launched a strike on Israel its safe to say Israel would turn Iran into a wasteland.

Eitherway, Iran doing -any- kind of attacks on our forces or Israel could spark other countries to do the same, or just draw in more radicals from other places.

exactly..you don\'t think other smaller countries no matter how futile their army may be, won\'t throw a counter attack? it\'s already being proven that you don\'t need a well organized unit to cause chaos against the greatest military in the world..trust if israel attacked iran or vice versa..shit would hit the fan...
remember even tho some of those mulslum countries don\'t like each-other it\'s been shown that they will come together to fight western soldiers,..or the brits or anybody outside of their culture...

Iran has the ability to attack Israel (though I think Israel has tested some new type of weapon that can take down incoming missiles, but how accurate are they.. really?). Israel has the ability to attack Iran, and Israel happens to be a great friend of the USA.
Iran wont do anything: Because they would be bombed to bits. They would not have any support in the world, better to stay a “victim”.
Israel wont do anything: Because they can be attacked, and I bet they have noticed some mighty pissed off Arabs in the area. Goldberg (?) said something that I remember "Israel is in a sea of Muslims".
US wont do anything: IIRC the US military is already stretched far to thin (Giga?). Iran is a different league compared to litte Iraq.
