I reformatted and needed to install my printer again but when I poped the disk in and tried to install it I got an error message:

Setup has detected that the spooler service has stopped. In order to continue the installation, it must be restarted. Would you like the spooler service to be started? Choose Yes to do so now, or No to cancel the installation.

I\'ve never seen or heard of this before. Is it fixable? Horrible? If anyone has any idea on what a spooler service is, help me, thanks.

start button
run
type in services.msc

make sure "print spooler" is started and set to start automatically

mm i was about to call you a lifesaver but when i clicked "start" it said "Error 1608: The dependency service or group failed to start"

where we lives, it called $25, not 25$...:wink:
