American Splendor.. now that movie was.. different. Which is good. But I really can\'t say whether or not I enjoyed the movie, but it was an experience that I\'m glad I had. I suppose if I was to make a comparison to a movie which I preferred it would be The Life and Death of Peter Sellers. Which is a movie I thoroughly enjoyed. Both had similar and unique ways in getting their characters intricasies across.
Though, Geoffry Rush gave a much more convincing performance in his role as Sellers than Giamatti did with Pekar. As much as I like Giamatti. :)
Anyways, I\'m done with my tangent, but I recommend you see the movie. :)

I dont watch that many movies but i prefer to watch comedies more than anything else.
But snatch is up there on my favorite movies, so \'gangster\' might be another choice.
-
American Splendor was cool...bought the dvd...
LOTR I love them all...but I am a huge Tolkien nerd so... :nerd:
Used to like SW, but goddammit I can\'t stop vomiting from what happened to the series.
-
I like comedies and scifi and action/war movies. But I will usually watch anything.
-
I like a good laugh, so a comedy is always a winner. Also a good gangster flick will do the trick. Goodfellas is the tops by far for me.

My absolute favorites that come to mind...
American Beauty
Jurassic Park
Kill Bill (vol1 & 2)
The Lion King
Finding Nemo
Titanic
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
Hero

The Crow is my favorite movie. I\'ve seen that a dozen times probably.
Other than that, I don\'t have many favorites. Though recently Freddy vs. Jason was great.
I enjoyed A Knight\'s Tale, too. It was hokey but they went for a Rocky-themed, come-back-and-kick-ass-at-the-end thing, which I enjoyed. It\'s not among my favorites, though.
