Sorry GMan, steeling your spot. This will always update.
NO NEW HURRICANES. We can breath again.

Anyone else wanna visit Videoholic? :D It\'s gonna be a category 5 soon. Hope Floridians learned the lesson from the Three Little Pigs and built their houses out of brick (Carolinians are dumb and still live in wooden homes).

That "2 AM Sunday" dot is where my house is. Charley didn\'t scare me that much, but this one is really starting to freak me out. People ARE going to die if this hits land as hard as predicted.
Everyone pray to Jebus for it to turn away and spare the lives of innocent people.... and hit Georgia.
;)
-
Im not very happy about this... Orlando is a friggin disaster area right now, people getting in accidents everywhere. Last night me and my girl went up to walmart to get some supplies and stuff... There were NO flashlights, little to NO batteries, NO water whatsoever, NO propane tanks... Basically nothing of any use. My mom passed a Home Depot this morning and she said it looked like a friggin nightmare. People are really freaking out now becuase of what happend with Charlie, and that wasnt even that horrible when it got to Orlando. I wish I could show you guys that video, but I cant post it on my site,, its too friggin big. (about 64meg)
-
i swear florida is going to look like a run down ghost town after these storms are finished with it...i pretty sure that the residents there are still cleaning up after charlie..florida is really gettin hammered this year..
-
And September just started. There will be more ABC Hurricanes to hit that place. And it\'s only on the letter F so far.
Batten down the hatches, guys! And make sure your trees are tethered to the ground! And as for yer cars.....well....tape the glass with duck tape to keep the shatter in place.

Hey Vid, you wanna come stay with me this time? ;) It\'s 75 and sunny... will probably go golfing whilst Frances hands you nice folks your asses...

Actually we are leaving Friday morning to go to Washington DC. THen Monday I am going to Montreal and Lona and Logan are flying back through Charlotte. I have a feeling her trip home will be an adventure.
-
Hey you can hang out with me and Gman then. If he ever tells us wtf he is. :(
-
I\'m not far from THX. :)
-
y\'know thx, gman how far are you cats from va state college? i have a brother that lives a few miles north of it..up interstate 95..i forgot the name of the town he lives in...

-
He sure picked a redneck area to live in. Although it\'s getting less and less backwards there so the stigma isn\'t as bad as it used to be, I guess.
THX is a wannabe redneck. ;)
-
gman, i found out the correct town he\'s in..it\'s chesterfield..sounds familiar?
-
Another category 5? Aren\'t those suppose to happen to FL like once every 5 years or so?
-
Very very rare. Actually a cat 5 hasn\'t hit FL since 92 during Andrew. This thing is nasty.
-
God I hate Fl. I got to move from here
-
this is going to suck ass guys.. hold on to your butts!
-
It\'s okay, people in Florida don\'t count as actual people.
:)

They should call it Hurricane Freedoms

I wish I could be that wrong in my job too.
-
well, at least it\'s a fairly localized storm....
-
Hey vid,
Me and the misses is comin\' to yall\'s place to hang out durin\' tha storm. I figgured iffen you let Chizzy stay with you then it would be ok if me and the wife and our dog "Stinky" stayed with you over the weekend. Stinky\'s not real smart and he can\'t control his bowels real good, but I figure we could put down some news paper. Here\'s a picture of Stinky, he\'s cute aint he.
Don\'t worry about keeping us entertained. We got lotsa video tapes of Nascar races that we took ourselves. We can all watch them together. Stinky even likes to chase the cars across the screen. You got a big screen tv, dont ya? Stinky will get a kick outa that. Here\'s a picture of me and the misses at the races, we love us some Earnhardt.
(https://psx5central.com/community/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lilligren.com%2FRedneck%2Fredneck_race_fan.jpg&hash=7cd50e6da881fbe977eaac5deab820036601c580)
We got the truck loaded up and ready to roll on over to your place. We have to stop by circle K and pick up some pig\'s feet first, cause Stinky can\'t eat hard food. He\'s got teeth problems. He\'ll just roll the pig foot on your floor and chew the meat off a little at a time.
We\'ll see you on Friday after I get offa workin\' at the fish market.
Thank ya kindly
-
looks like we might be heading your way VID
-
We just had to do a service call here at work... and when we called we didn\'t realize where they were located.
The lady told us she couldn\'t help us right now because they were in the middle of evacuating the building.
whoops... looks like were gonna lose a client.
-
Vid must be too busy gettin\' his house ready for us. He\'s probably out at the store stocking up on food for us.
Hey Vid, just leave the key under the mat. We\'ll let ourselves in.
Do you have a gun case that I can use?
-
He\'s on his way to Washington DC. Have fun after breaking into his empty house. (that\'s what happens when you let the internet know you\'re plans ;) )
-
It\'s getting windy outside. Maybe this time we\'ll get some good footage of the storm. It is supposed to be the strongest in our area durring the morning on Sunday.
-
How are yall doin
-
That sucked - no power all night.
-
Spoke to Lona last night. She got in at 12am and the clock said 4am, so I guess they got power at around 8pm. No clue how long it was off. Guess we have to throw everything away in the fridgheateher.
No damage to the house at all. Just lots of rain. We have a nice size pond in the lot behind us now. I guess I should sell now and pretend I have waterfront property.
-
Well, we have had no power and no water since early Sunday morning. Our phone line isn\'t working either. I am posting at work today. Our house is still without electricity or water. We lost about 5 trees around our house, but none of them fell on the house. One of them smashed our storage shed and a couple hit our fence. I slept for about 3 hours last night in the heat and humidity. No visible damage was done to the house. We have a nice supply of food and we filled our bath tubs with water so we can flush the toilets. We have a battery powered black and white TV that we have been watching the news with. Driving to work today, I saw many downed trees that were on peoples houses and some that have caused damage. Today I am almost glad to be at work because I get to enjoy the AC and running water.
Vid,
I saw on the news that there was major flooding in downtown Tampa. They showed a shot of waves splashing against guard rails and onto a road. I am glad that I live in the middle of the state. My room-mate\'s parents live in Merit Island. They evacuated and drove to Tampa. That whole area must have been underwater with the storm surge.
-
The flights to Bahamas are real cheap. Maybe I\'ll meet Hurricane Ivan there and then have it carry my fart all the way to Florida.
Yep. Tropical Storm Ivan might become a Hurricane and skull fukc Florida, right after Charlie raped it and Frances anally probed it. Florida is running out of orifice to screw. :D
-
umm.... Ivan is already a category 3 Hurricane with sustained winds of 125 MPH
good luck to all of you in florida
-
did you say "might"?
It\'s a hurricane already. We are just hoping it goes somewhere else. The tracking map at NOAA.com looks like it may not hit central florida this time.
-
yeah, it\'s looking like somewhere in the Gulf... maybe Louisiana
-
Well, last I heard about Ivan was yesterday morning. Had no idea it took some Viagra and is full grown to pound Florida or Louisiana.
-
Damn. I feel really bad for you Floridanians. This has to be the worst year for hurricanes ever.
-
Thats what you get for living on the US\'s dong.
-
back to the gulf coast of florida again

Thank you Ivan can I have another!
My kindof girlfriend is Russian so she\'s been making jokes about how this hurricane will **** us all up like no other. I really hope shes wrong. so I can rub it in her face.. all over her face :) JK

Oye...
-
Cool.
Destroy Florida!~
-
The pic I posted above updates and will always be the latest track. It made a HUGE change the past advisory. It was going out into the gulf over 100 miles from tampa. Now it\'s going east of Tampa.
This storm is viscious. It\'s going to wipe out Jamaica and haiti. Grenada is fizucked right now.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5927015/
Also, I\'m making this thing a generic sticky. This is going to be a busy season and quite a few of us live down here.
-
Hurricane Charley killed 27 people in southwest Florida last month and caused an estimated $6.8 billion in insured damage. Hurricane Frances hit the state last weekend, causing several billion dollars in damage and taking 19 lives in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina.
Didn\'t realize that.
Apparently Ivan is expected for Florida early Monday.
-
both our pics are updated daily. Looks like the florida keys are gonna get slammed.
-
The Florida keys have a mandatory evacuation... atleast thats what I was just told
-
They should take a picture of the Keys before they leave. That thing will be washed away.
Say good bye to Sloppy Joes.
-
jbean..that is one sexy ass avy boi :werd: anyway this must be ins companies worst nightmare..all those profits they make monthly are you going down the tubes in one big swoop..heh i still see those eric estradas (chips) commercials with him tryin to sell property in florida..sorry no thanks...
hopefully this next storm will vere off to the side or dramatically decrease in force...it\'s hard to predict what actually is gonna happen until it\'s right on you..in any case it\'s still a hurricane and any hurricane is extremely dangerous...
-
yeah... the overall attitude of people around here isnt that great.. The economy is taking a shiat, and people are losing massive ammounts of work. we cant take another cane!
-
My wife just called me to tell me that our power has just been restored.
Now, let\'s see how long we can keep it.
I think I\'ll be watching TV while microwaving popcorn, listening to the stereo and flicking all of the lights in the house on and off this weekend before Ivan takes out our power again.
-
Im just gonna go to Jae\'s place this time.. They havent lost power in ANY of the hurricanes!
-
Are their power lines underground?
Does anyone know how large (size, not speed) Ivan is compared to Charlie and Frances?
-
bigger than Charlie but smaller than Frances... Its moving at about 15MPH. so just a little faster than Frances. That means about a Day and a half of sustained hurricane winds if it hits us.
-
man it\'s a category 5 now... jamacia looks like it could get leveled.
-
why is this a sticky? cuz vid lives there? :p
-
haha, behold the powers of the Admin!
-
Hurricanes create more jobs! After all - it doesn\'t take a skilled worker to clean up debry. ;)

and we all know who will get those jobs right? mexicans! cause no americans will want a job like that!..;)
-
It\'s a sticky so us floridians don\'t have to look for it.
This storm is small and tight. IT won\'t take that long to push through. BUt it has winds the force of a tornado. THat is crazy. Oh yeah, and now it\'s headed for Tampa. nice. I liked it better when it was heading straight up the shaft of the penis. Now it\'s headed right for us.

It creates work for illegal hispanics, like SirMistiq.
-
Damn Vid that current projection puts it right on top of you! However, I think it going to vere more toward the east and probably smack MP in Orlando. ;)
-
Sonova bitch!!!
I enjoyed 2 hours of electricity yesterday before my power went out again.
Now I am hearing on the radio that because of Ivan, the power may not be restored until the 16th.
-
OUCH! Ive had power for the whole week.. sorry to hear man :)
-
Good god...how are you guys goona watch the Florida State Miami game tonight? ;)
See Yuz.
-
umm... we play final fantasy...
-
Yeah, we are the artsy nerd types that shun watching football unless we are reenacting the radio commentary with shadow puppets on a blank wall.... pass the chips.

-
So far it\'s coming right by us. Hopefullly it will only be the outter bands.
-
well it keeps pushing further and further west. Although it has slowed down a lot. Still could shift very easily.
Doesn\'t someone live in the pan handle? Destin or something?
-
I heard the Cayman Islands are getting hammered; serves those stupid tax evaders right. :) Anyway, it looks like you Floridians have dodged a bullet. Congratulations!
This sucker is moving slow... isn\'t there any chance it could just peter out before it hits the panhandle?
-
Many people are getting killed in the Carribean... better pray it doesnt come to Florida.

It\'s going into the warm waters of the gulf, more than likely it will get strong again by the time it hits land.

I have a feeling their building codes aren\'t quite that of FL.

Yeah I am foo\'d on this one... if it lands on the Redneck Riviera (Panama City) I am screwed. :(
-
I knew someone lived up there. Couldn\'t remember who. I remember flying over Panama City after Opal. That was pretty sweet. Well, pretty sweet in a very dimented not really caring because I live no where near there kind of way.
Actually it was pretty amazing. You see no houses in site and as you are looking down you realize that there were slabs of concrete where houses use to be. (Obviously I was in a helicopter)
I don\'t think I could ever live on the beach. It\'s just so devistating to lose everything.
-
Yeah I live about 150 miles or so from Panama City so it would most likely be a tropical storm by the time it reached here. PC is screwed though if it does indeed come ashore there.
We stayed in a 18 story building that was 120 ft from the water when I went there in June. Beautiful view from the 15th floor overlooking the water - you couldn\'t pay me enough to be there for Ivan though.
-
Ehhh ehehehehe I have a 4 day weekend!!! Woohoo!!! The people here are petrified and I have the next two days off since our agency is closed! Go Ivan!!! Now stay to the west like a good boy so I can enjoy it.
-
The hype before the storm sucks. That\'s one good thing about tornados. At least you don\'t have to sit around and wait for the sucker. Just ask Chizzy how many games of Shrek Operation we played. By the way, I of course dominated. ;)

Not so lucky...though I do wonder if you even have power :-P
Hope you\'re alright, man.

Teh earwax always killed me....and you know the Log always won...;)
-
So far so good on the power and tree situation. Wind is pretty bad, but no damage except for some tree limbs. Also tornado sirens going off every so often - what is worse the sirens or my wife getting hysterical over hearing them? I haven\'t been able to determine that one yet.

Hurricane Jeanne is about to his Florida.
WHICH ONE OF YOU FLORIDIANS PISSED OFF GOD?

Here\'s the fun and colorful hurricane guessing map.

Gotta love the way the estimated path cuts west, as if to say "oops, there\'s Florida... almost missed it.

Better get those windows duct taped. ;)

How do you like this one for taking a left turn... It\'s amazing how many predictions there are out there and how different they can be.

Yeah, when Hurricanes get in the position that Jeanne is in right now (i.e. directly West of Florida), they get caught up in the wind stream that traditionally curves away from the state, which is exactly why it\'ll curve off and probably won\'t cause any true damage as it hooks back into the Atlantic Ocean. One of the acceptions to this rule -- Hurricane Andrew, 1992. People thought it was goona hook off like it probably should have, but it just went barrelling into Florida.
I personally don\'t think #4\'s goona hit this time...but only time will tell if a future Hurricane does.
See Yuz.

I can see my old house from here!!!

Truely amazing that this sucker is coming back. I thought it was going north to no man\'s land.
