Title: WAV (PCM) convert to MP3 or WMA....

does Window Media player have this option where you can convert it?

Codec: Lame (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Lame_Encoder.htm)
Front-End: EAC (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Exact_Audio_Copy.htm) | RazorLame (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/RazorLame.htm)

That said, WMA is newer and will always be better than decade-old MP3. Only thing is it may not be compatible if you want to throw it into something like Nero or Premiere. Advanced WMA Workshop (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Advanced_WMA_Workshop.htm)

The most powerful and versatile is BeSweet (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/BeSweet.htm) but it\'s far from user friendly and it\'s oogily. I only use it when converting something like AC3.

Post by: Lord Nicon on September 14, 2004, 04:10:24 PM: Like i said. I dont know abou WMA\'s but Yamp can encode/decode wav\'s, mp3\'s and Ogg vobis files (w/e the hell that is). Its small and converting between the two is easy.

i am just lazy to google and search for it...so i see yamp that you link too and downloaded it anyway.

And it works just fine...it can convert mp3 to wav and vice versa. cool.
