Anybody gonna pick this up?
I might.
I only got enough money for one game so between that, Sims 2, Star Wars Battlefront and Rome: Total War, I got a decision to make.
Right now I\'m leaning towards Rome: Total War.

The everlasting dilemma.. buy it for Xbox or PC??
-
PC? Does it have multiplayer online or something exclusive to the PC?
-
thinking I\'ll buy it, I have a week off of work coming up, so I\'ll need something to take up some time.
-
If you can\'t create your own guy, I\'m not even gonna bother... And it looks like you can\'t.

What did you guys think this game was? OK, I researched it quite a bit. First of all, think of this game as BG: DA only with X-Men. That means the X-Men can be leveled up, powered up, attributes doled out, etc. Secondly, it\'s four players and four players anytime. If you\'re in the middile of a mission and you\'re playing on your own and a friend drops by, he can pick up and play the game at any time as one of the four characters always on screen. The game is VERY teamplay centric so you\'ll be playing 4 players at all times (CPU or human controlled). There\'s no online mode for any of the consoles and there\'s no PC version. I have no idea where that came from in the first place, but this not coming to PC.

was wondering why this was in the PC forum
-
I swore this was gonna be a PC game....
Oh well, I\'m an idiot, and I\'m also not getting it, as much as I love Raven.

All I have to say is check out either Freedom Force or City of Heroes, I have heard nothing but praise concerning both of those titles. I don\'t have BB, therefor an MMORPG is fairly useless to much, but I am still considering picking up City of Heroes, because I\'m a a freak for character creation and superheroes.
-
X-Men Legends is great and City of Heroes is decent. I used to LOVE City of Heroes. I even maxed out a character during its initial run (level 40), but they released a patch that made running around with the max number of heroes in a group pointless, but hey, it could be different now. It\'s been like 2 full updates since then.
-
Is there any single player experience at all? Mind you, I don\'t require award winning gameplay , as I just love runnin\' around as a superhero.

Any mission you get can be done with a group or on your own, but doing them on your own all the time will get tedious as you\'ll always be facing the same 7 or 8 sets of enemies after long. It\'s great to put a team together comprised of people you have not seen before and going all out on these missions. You\'ll come across some really diverse characters in designs and power sets. It\'s really cool. That\'s half the charm. Not to mention tweaking out your character with powers and making something that\'s totaly to your liking is really awesome. If I were you, I\'d work to level 15 or so (just after you get your travel power and upgraded it) to see if you REALLY like the game or not. The travel power makes the game 10x\'s more fun.

Well, I just picked up my first MMORPG...Let me say the notion of paying to play online is friggin sucky. The idea you have to play online is sucky..Oh and the fact that I am having to borrow a broadband connection after installing for the 300 + megs of updates is sucky.
Not sure how the game is - never got to play it..its been to sucky tonight.
-
I love this game.
Anyone here playing it?

I stopped playing MMORPG\'s a while ago. I can\'t justify a monthly fee for one game.
The game does look like fun though, but I refuse to pay for it monthly and I don\'t have the time I once did to play games like this.
