Title: football games...
Post by: clips on September 22, 2004, 07:10:44 PM
i\'m just wondering if anybody here plays their football games more being that football season is in full swing?...and let me say this..i\'m throwin\' up the truce sign :p..it doesn\'t matter whether it\'s madden or espn...i for one find myself playin alot more..especially after i get finished watchin\' one of the games...currently i\'m in week 4 and 3-0 with the cowboys of course..

i play with the cowboys but i also play with all the other teams also in franchise mode except the giants and the 49er\'s :mad: i hate those teams!...

so i just wanna know where everybody is currently on they\'re football game, whether it\'s madden or espn..and do you play with other teams in franchise besides your favorite?...

Yeah, I pretty much only play Football games during the season, or during the off season right after big trades and rosters moves

Stealing Markers idea;
rock\'n Madden
All Pro
Pat\'s (fun team to play with)
4-0 (Dolphins gave me a run for my money, just barely beat them in the 4th)
No Injuries yet

Yea. I do fantasy drafts and play one season. Then do another draft.

Went 16-0 with one team on all-pro so i switched to all-madden with a new team. Having a hell of a time. The difference between all-madden and all-pro is insane. I can barely pass the ball, and running so far has been either awesome (when i had portis), or pretty much non-existent with edge and steven jackson.

I suck at passing online though. Main thing thats killing me in our league. Doesnt help i have fiedler throwing the ball, but its frusterating to have Boston, Booker, and Chambers and not be good at passing.

another comment/question...heh i was playin espn 2k5 a couple of days ago..and i came across a rather rare event i\'ve gotten an offsetting penalties call..:p..i know it\'s a small detail, but i\'ve never seen that ever in a football videogame..it\'s just nice to know that they\'ve put that small detail in there...fyi..the call i think was a holding penalty on my team and a pass interference on the computer team...

ok my  question is whether you have madden or espn,..how many minutes do you play? i play 7 minute qtrs...i used to play 5 min but now i can play 7 min and still get realistic stats and scores...just wondering how long everybody else plays...
