I forget whose desktop that was, but I want to know how you get your Icons lined up like that.

I am currently running XP Professional, any  chance you could explain how to line your icons up?

Hmmm.  He\'s into movies and the internet.  Very interesting.  No clue.  One thing though.  If you want OSX, buy a Mac.

That would be Yz\'s dock, arguably the best dock clone ever made on the pc.

However since it\'s no longer being developed I suggest you check out Objectdock, it\'s getting pretty good.

It\'s just Objectdock.  You can download it from download.com.  It works the same as the mac OSX dock with drag and drop icons and whatnot.  Consider it nothing but a big shortcut bar.  I use it just to a much less obtrusive degree.

That\'s my desktop, the bar is visually appealing but I took it off because I am always working with video on my main comp and sometimes the obect dock can intefere causing either dropped frames or blank video.  Supposedly Object Dock is better but I never compared the two, here\'s links to each:

Go get you some nice PNG icons.  I actually made some myself for certain programs I had but most I got from places like deskmod.com or Googling.

Objectdock works no matter what I do. I deleted every file there is and uninstalled it, but hey, it still ****ing works.

hey I really don\'t have a choice when it comes to this.

Everything is based off of windows, so if I can\'t eradicate it, might as well adjust.

Everything is based off of the Mac...starting back to the days of the Apple II. Windows has failed to change in a long ass time.

They\'re still using DOS...WTF? I hope when Longhorn (the new Windows) comes out, it will actually be somewhat revolutionary...I think it will, as they are working very hard at it...and I hope they change the name when it comes out too.

XP is based off the NT kernel.  With DOS programs on XP you have to have an emulation type deal.

I\'m glad you have an Apple and like it, I\'m glad I have a PC and can use a jillion useful programs that aren\'t on the Mac.

Yeah, that\'s why I have Virtual PC, so I can have access to the billions of programs on Windows :D They both have their pros and cons. I certainly wouldn\'t want to have a program that makes Mac OS X look like Windows...it would make it look terrible. Never mind...

OS X Tiger is lookin\' sweet, though.

Hurricane...is that Ronald McDonald from Family Guy?? :D

Yes it is.

The only reason I like this new look is because everything looks cleaner, and the icons are a lot cooler.  Anyone know where I can get some new icons for popular programs?
