On September 15th, 2004, major news has been revealed by both Variety and the Hollywood Reporter on the DOOM movie. Karl Urban (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karl_Urban) has been casted for the DOOM movie as the star, John Grimm, a leader of a special ops team, it\'s been revealed that the character of John Grimm that he will dealing with alien demons but also he will cross paths with the organization, the United Aerospace Corp. that is responsible for John Grimm\'s parents deaths.

It\'s also been revealed that Enda McCallion has dropped out of the project and Polish director Andrzej Bartkowiak (http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0005647/) has signed on to be the director. It\'s also been revealed that production will start in Mid-October with a August 5th, 2005 release date, also that Universal Pictures is in talks with The Rock for him to have a role in the DOOM movie.

The Rock? No way. I liked this guy in The Bourne Supremacy but i dont know about doom.
