Title: Help! Freeware search!
Post by: Living-In-Clip on October 03, 2004, 06:18:08 AM
Alright here is the thing, I need a program that rips audio tracks from Mpegs and converts them to MP3. Most importantly I need it for XP and it needs to be freeware, because I am a complete bum..

Any suggestions?

Virtual Dub says "no frames found in Mpeg".

Besweet does AVI and not Mpegs.

Oh and I know the Mpeg is valid  - as I have been watching it off and on all day.
:D

Try this version?

http://www.free-codecs.com/download/VirtualDub-MPEG2.htm

Edit- here\'s some more I forgot:

DVD2AVI (http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Decoders/DVD2AVI_frm.zip) - should demux audio no problem.

Xmpeg (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/XMPEG.htm) | Official Site (http://www.mp3guest.com/Xmpeg_Index.asp?l=US)
