Title: stocks, I finally did something right.
Post by: videoholic on October 06, 2004, 09:14:15 AM: Back when I asked you losers what I should do with Palm one, you told me to keep it.

So I sold it at 39.89 (I bought it at 17.22) It then dipped down to the low 30\'s and has been there ever since.

I took that money and bought Sirius back at 2.24

It\'s now thanks to Howard stern at 3.92

Ah, life is good.

Thanks for the stock advice guys. You all rock.

Went all the way down to 400 bucks. I am now back up to 2200. That\'s not too bad. This is just play around money anyway. I\'m just doing it to learn.

Also XM is half owned by Clear Channel. No way could he hav egone to them. THey booted him off several of their stations.

Man, I like good days. Problem is this isn\'t a stock that I will be selling any time soon so it\'s really no big deal when you have nice two day swings.

BTW, someone mentioned a couple months ago on what do do with 1,000 bucks. If they had bought sirius, they would now have about 1700 bucks.

This stock should be over 8 bucks easy by the time next year comes around.

Also there are rumours that Sirius may buy out Stern\'s contract. That would be interesting.

Bought 80 shares of nVidia at $12.10, now $18.40. Plan to sell sometime after it hits $20.

It\'s always good to buy stocks you take part in. That\'s why I have sirius now. Plus the fact that it freaking rocks.

Stern is going to be on Letterman Thursday. Lots of rumours running around that he may announce something on Thursday that may be as big as a buyout. Although I doubt it, it\'s still great for Sirius. Friday will hopefully be an interesting day.

I wish I didn\'t quit my job. I\'d like to throw some more money at it. I have 5 grand in the bank doing nothing for me right now.

I suppose I was about even when I pulled my money out and put it in the bank.

This talk on Sirius makes me wish I was still in it. That\'s a hell of a success story nearly doubling your money twice. Too bad it wasn\'t a large sum. :-/

They are going to hit their goal by the first of the year with a million subscribers and that will cause another spike. Then when Stern comes on the air it will cause another spike. There is no reason why this stock shouldn\'t be at 10 bucks in another year holding steady. That would be a healthy profit considering all I am doing is sitting on my ass and watching it grow.

I\'m too much of a puss to throw big money on the market.
