Title: T.H.U.G. 2= a mixed bag?

Tony Hawk Underground 2 is out.

The critics are receiving it well(although they have a habbit of sucking neversoft\'s titty) with a score of 8.6 on gamerankings.com

Meanwhile the gamers are not so enthousiastic.I\'ve been reading the messageboard for Thug 2 on gamefaqs.com and there are quite some complaints.

There is apparently a lot of freezing and hanging in the game(especailly when you save) and it is pretty short.Furthermore the graphics are barely improved over Thug 1 and the general feeling among gamers:The game is rushed.


What are your thoughts on this and are you dissapointed by this?


P.S:I will probably still buy it because I love Tony Hawk games.   :fro:

No kidding?  This is usually a job for the Xbox.  I have yet to see my PS2 lock up.

Ditto. After 3 my interest for it just kinda died. Thug is far too silly of a game and after the same ol crap for years im pretty sick of it. so incredibly unrealistic, stupidly goofy, and the sound track gets worse and worse as time goes on.

1,2&3 - Fine. But not we have team hawk and team bam (margera) riding mechanical bulls and shit? No way. I mean i guess i could get in the mood for it but After so long id rather just get back to realism and/or the core of what THPS used to be.

Shit id rather play Thrasher Skate and Destroy over this ANY DAY.

Same. I saw a video for THUG2 today in a shop and its just so stupid, the height the skaters jump from and the tricks they pull is just unbeliveable - not like THPS3 was realistic at all but at least it wasnt totally stupid.
