Title: Anyone order from Dell?
Post by: theomen on October 11, 2004, 02:07:24 PM: I just ordered an Axim X30 with the 624mhz cpu, and a couple of other goodies because of their 30% off sale, and when I checked my expected shipment date...it is a f*ck\'n month after my order date. Is this a late date to cover their ass, or am I really set to expect a month until shipment. Which sucks for me, because I\'m selling my current Ipaq on ebay, so a month with no pda would kill me. Anyone have experience with dell?

BTW, no one say "dude, you\'re getting a dell!"

Post by: videoholic on October 13, 2004, 04:11:03 AM: I watch movies on mine all the time. Well I do on planes. They look great. By VGA, you mean 640 x 480? That would be nice. I probably have the same Ipaq as you had. Wifi you can get by just getting a compact flash or SD wifi card.

If your unsure about the shipping date why not call dell? Scratch that calling dell is I like calling IRAQ. I order a pc from them about a month ago. I remember my orders being wrong on the web. I doubt it would take them a month to build it. Nobody would wait that long.

And I checked out an Axim forum, and people are getting delayed until late october and early-mid november. They need to stop this malaysian building shit, and take it back to the states.
