Title: Question about house brake in\'s
Post by: ooseven on November 01, 2004, 02:16:16 PM
ok after doing a earily mission its said after that all i needed to do (if i wanted more) was to get a van and press R3 for the sub mission at night.

But for some reason it don\'t work :(

do i need to get the ski mask from one of the shops or do i need to find the "right" kind of van ?

You have to get a black boxville van (I think that\'s what it\'s called), you can find one in the apartment yard across from the gym near cj\'s house.

Same as Soully.  I like to savor every moment.. fly by everything too fast and you\'ll be done before you know it.

I just got onto the 2nd city last night, and the first thing I did, was get my pilots licence.

I can enter the airport on SF now, but I can\'t fly any of the planes there.

woopty-doo.

I\'m still on the first island, but I got off to a delayed start. I tried my hand at an airplane today but didn\'t get very far. I\'m having trouble just finding the missions. The radar is pretty unforgiving, but I\'m starting to use the map more.

I\'ve explored briefly about all the sections on the first island, though.

Good way to get around is to mark where you\'re going on the map. I find it alot easier to see the big red dot then yellow/white piss ant arrows. I also do it when i want to go to a certain place like the gym and i\'m to far from it.

Good tip. I didn\'t know a lot of the little nuances like that and picking up gang members with the d-pad.  I\'ll have to try them out tomorrow.

2nd island sucks,,,the missions so far have been incredibly boring and im stuck on one of the stupid racing missions, its kind of hard to win those when you cant drive for s#!+...first island is awesome though thats for sure,,,especially when you get to take over "hoods"

Yea, I started the rival turf wars today. I have like 18 territories. I tried to take a couple more but couldn\'t find any bad guys to kill. :)

They must be afraid. ;]

They also tend to be in your way.  Make good shields though.

I dont mind the second Island that much. I hate and love all the driving in the country sections. The city missions overall havent been as great as the others though. I just enjoy playing period though. I should have taken out all the turf from the other gangs but i just got sucked into moving on. Ive put in a decent amount of hours into the game this weekend - i was trailing behind the lot of you before but id say im about caught up.

Meh. Games are hooking me back in. Dont know how ill get things done.

And about breaking into peoples houses - doesnt give you that much money compared to other things that you could be doing. Dont know of any really rich places in los santos but youre better off starting gang wars. Not only are they fun and sometimes fairly challenging - but you get a crapload of weapons and money.
