Title: Colors, do they make a difference?

I was wondering, does changing your clothes to something other then green make a difference. I can\'t test it because the game isn’t here atm  
I remember one time I came across 2 doods with orange bandanas and they asked if i was wearing colors. So I replied with a negative response and killed them anyway.  But does it make a difference?

I wore an orange shirt and it made no difference at all.

i wear vlack vest and blue jeans, the green just looked totally stupid

At last, my user name seems to be relevant.

To recruit gang members do I need to wear colours? It\'s just that at the moment I look like the jolly green giant but still don\'t seem to be able to recruit people even though my respect is maxed out.

Been trying for about half an hour so far but with no joy, ended up killing all of them instead!

Most irritating, any help would be appreciated.

Are you targeting them with R1 then pressing up on the D-pad?

What happens when you are past the 1st city, and are onto the 2nd city? I have the ability to recruit 5 gang members now, but since I progressed past the 1st city, they have gone, I can\'t find them anywhere.

When you have done the 2nd and most of the 3rd city you will be taken back to Los Santos where you can recruit again. This is where I am at the moment retaking the territories.
