Title: Anyone else get the new PS2?

goddamn, this thing is small.... and quiet, no fan. I also couldn\'t figure out how to turn it off at first. I have to be careful and put it away after I use it, \'cos I\'ll step on the f*cking thing.

It\'s friggin\'s tempting to buy one ! But my current PS2 works perfectly so buying PStwo is a bit waisting of money imho.

150 euros? damn! mine was $149 US.... plus I sold my old PS2 to my co-worker for $50..... 1st gen PS2 never had a problem...

plus my wifey bought a warranty that can be used like this:

Any problems-new ps2

ps3 comes out next xmas & thing breaks- free ps3

all for an additional $25....

I\'ve been thinking about getting a PSTwo for myself for christmas, with some financial aid from people trying to get to my good side. I\'ll just lay low a while and see if the units you guys have bought keep exploding, freezing or anything in between. :)

My current PS2 finally went past the point-of-no-return-no-matter-what-you-try and has been transported to the dustball preserve zone on the top shelf in my closet, torn to bits, poor thing. I guess it wouldn\'t be much of a hassle to get it fixed, but the PSTwo is just... spiffy! And there\'s the network adapter issue too. I wonder if I can play on the \'net through this university connection...

I got one. It seems so fragile. But as long as it works, I\'m happy.

My previous PS2 didn\'t like DVDs too much. I plan to sell it for $40 on eBay, as is.

I like the bigger design better, this one doesn\'t look as impressive, I guess. As long as it works, though, I\'m happy.

nope, doesn\'t support Hds.  So i\'m not gonna get one. What i will do is buy another of the old style ones. So if my one kicks the dust. I\'ll have that one sitting there.

Anyway, I managed to sell my current PS2. So, I\'ll be getting the new PStwo after all. Probably in the weekend. :bounce:
