holly shiat!!! thats crazy

HA! I used to live there. That\'s the west side of Wichita. Stopping is one thing, looking both ways is another apparently.
-
You could totally see it developing. He just didn\'t look left and figured if a van can turn left, then he should have enough time to go across.
Classic live shot.
I had one where I zoomed in on a bomb sniffing dog one time as it exited a grocery store where a bomb threat was called.
I was closeup on the dog when it turned it\'s ass to me and took a big shit right in the middle of the street.
Nice.

What the hell? It\'s almost like that idiot in the car was trying to get hit. Talk about NOT looking to the left. He went out there all slow. Makes me want to drive all the more safe now.
*Idiot*

he was prolly distracted by the news crew on the side of the road

Now that I think about it, that\'s probably what it was :( He still should have been looking, though.
-
You know you\'re right. I bet he was distracted by the news crew.
-
I thought that was obvious. There\'s nothing to see out there except the news crew.
-
They probably looked to the right and saw the news crew. Then waited for the dude to turn left and didn\'t even realize they never looked to the left.
I have to tell you that working in the news is VERY scary to work on the side of the road. A guy was killed at my station when I was working down in West Palm. He was covering an accident and someone ran into him as he was getting something out of the back of his truck.
Creepy.
