ok the year an\'t up yey but now is a good time to start listing what you think of this years games.
The categories are as follows
the positives
Best FPS
Half-Life 2
Best RPG
Best Sport
Best Adventure
Best Action
Best Online title
Best title bought by you (in terms of greatness and value for money)
Best of the show (E3)
Nintendos Pre E3 show = new zelda game + the DS
Best of the show (TGS)
Dark horse title (the unknown title that surprised you the most in a good way.
The negatives
Worst of the show (E3)
Sony\'s Pre E3 show... i mean come on ...get on with it and show us the games, and less with the "we sold X amount of units. the pre show was only saved by the PSP though
Worst of the show (TGS)
Worst game of the year
Biggest gimmick of the year (game feature or hardware add-on)
Most disappointing game
Biggest online game letdown
Starwars battlefront (PS2 version) : it’s a shame because it could have been good… but they rushed it. Poor lobby system… horrible lag. poor connection features and no clans or friends lists (note i have only played the PS2 so the X box & pc verions might avoid all these problems) so only the PS2 version gets my vote.
The STFU award (for the developer or developers that don’t know when to shut up)
Infinium Labs for their..we are going to sue anyone you says we are a hoax back at the start of the year.
The award for most damage done to the industry award
the UK tabloid (the dailt Mail\'s) coverage of the teenage killer that “used” Manhunt as a manual on how to kill his best friend. Dispite the fact that the killer was a drug addict and attacked the boy for money to pay of some debts cause by his drug addition. The Daily mail Blamed Rockstars game as if it picked up the wepaon and killed the boy anyway.
The hype award (for the piss poor game that didn’t deserve all the attention)
Going to say Killzone but that might change after i have played the online side...but still after the Halo kuller title (if it was started by sony or not) means this title gets my vote.
-----------------------
for this thread you can change you mind as much as you want (well till the 1st of January)
Also try and keep it to one game/title /console add-on per category. Also give a few line why it deserves the award good/bad.
p.s. if there is a category that you want to add then please feel free to suggest it in your post.
