Title: Driving Skill...
Post by: L i L K u B B s on November 09, 2004, 11:38:06 AM
Okay the driving skill you start with is pathetic. I skid out all the time, even when I try and slow down for turns. In the old games I would fly around the corner and use the handbrake, now that just makes me do 360\'s into poles. Is there any specific way to increase my driving skill more quickly? It never seems to go up ever..

Pass the driving test (in San Fierro).

What do you get when you get 100% on all of them? Im guessing a cheetah because as soon as i got at least all golds and silvers the bullet appeared permanently outside of the driving school.

I don\'t know but I have a super GT permanently outside the school. I have found the Bullitt though parked in an alleyway. The Banshee is also parked behind the gym in San Fierro. :D

To be honest, I haven\'t really noticed any difference from the handling at the start of the game, and the handling now after getting the licence.

Does it actually improve the drivability of the cars?

I have noticed that motorbikes are easier to control when you have done the bike test. In fact you can drop off vertical walls of about 30 feet or more and not fall off, which you would do normally.

I was bored and didn\'t feel like doing missons so I just cruised the country side with a motorbike and my bike skill is half filled right now.  I actually hit a car head on with a pretty decent speed with a Freeway and the car bounced back and I kept going.
