-
Thats pretty cool dood, just don\'t go killing yourself on that thing.
I was thinking of buying myself a dirt bike some century. Just hasn\'t come to light yet....
-
I own an 84 Honda XR 500R with a slew of mods. 40ft. jumps are nice ;)
Only quad I would buy would be the 450R u have or a Pred 500. But I\'d rather not have training wheels :D j/k
-
Nice bike. Damn that looks like fun.
-

Safety is number one priority, I hate seeing the "cool guys wearin nothing but sandals and a wife beater riding."
What gear do you sport?
I wear full oneal jersey with oneal 360 pants, Fox body armor, Moto-X Fox boots "70\'s style, friend\'s dad gave them to me :D" And HJC Helmet w/ Scott goggles.
The Bike you have looks great. IS your headlight faded or just really dusty? Aside from rice patties, I love Honda off road line up, HRC all the way baby.
-
thanks. I love moose racing gear. Currently i wear a fly helmet, shift knee protectors, and some off brand kidney belt. I\'m not sure what im going to do for a chest protector yet. I think I want something thats more like some of the body armor stuff out there with a lot of back support built in. Im pretty much done riding for the year, so I\'ll see what christmas brings in the form of protection then I\'ll go from there. Im tearing the bike down to clear frame and getting it powder coated and gusseted, then the shocks are getting revalved and sprung with triple rate fronts and a dual rate rear :) That will drastically improve the handling through the woods !

Sounds like you have your hand full ;).
Rear shocks nitrogen fill if I\'m not mistaken, that thing is BUCKS to refill.
When I bought my 84 I took the whole thing apart and sand blasted the fram, then power coated it honda red, bought replacement aftermarket plastics for it and basically restored it. one hell of a bike. even though it\'s not a Cr I live in Tucson with miles of desert = rally motocross anyone :D.
-
oh and the headlight is dusty haha.
its actually not bad for what im getting shock wise. its 550 bucks but the revalve and respring with triple rate fronts and a dual rate for the rear. its basically like getting a set 1700 aftermarket shocks for a third the price. I would love to ride in the desert one of these days. it looks like so much fun but alas im from good old pennsylvania

I have a TRX 125. I got it when I was younger and I\'m way too tall for it. I\'m gonna sell it and buy a mud demon  Maybe spring :)
-
Nice quad but they tip to easy, CR250r all the way......
......and maybe a crf50 for the drunk days. :D
-
nah they don\'t tip too easy ya just got to get loooooooow
-
I don\'t have a lot of area to ride where I live now. I used to live where I could but now I\'m confined to my yard. I keep it for the winters. I drive in the snow on the roads and stuff and slide around and stuff. Damn I can\'t wait for it to snow.

I\'ve always had two wheelers, I just had a go on one and it felt really wierd. Probably just have to get used to it I suppose.
-
I have got a Huskavarna 500 it eats those up and craps them out as little toys......
Once you get use to ridding a bike almost impossible to ride one of those main reason.....
TURNING - I have been yanked right out of the seat :)
-
hey whatever man, personally i hate dirtbikes. they just arent as much fun in my opinion. have fun eatn me up in the snow or some sloppy muddy trails. I\'ll be sure to stop while your picking your bike up off its side ;)
-
Well...I\'m jealous :( That\'s a sweet quad...

To me I find quads good for bigger people & people and less blanaced, aside from leaning left or right during a turn that pretty much all you need to do to stay on a quad, it takes much more effort on a bike and thats what makes them awesome.
You can have fun roosting ans drifting around every turn, I\'ll have fun taking tight burms at 30 and leaning the bike practically horizontal with my leg fully extended hovering over the ground then coming out of it and WOT to a jump to catch serious air. it\'s an adrenaline rush not many have had the pleasure of feeling..
skystrider, like I said CR\'s are very nice trick bikes but I bet my 4 stroke would whoop your CR\'s ass top speed :D. technically my 500 is equal to your 250 aside from weight, gotta love the 2 stroke for its blistering acceleration and power. I\'ve gotten my XR up too 110-120mph on dirt.. weird feeling to have the air hit your face so fast it becomes hard to breath, out of this world.
