was just thinking how happy I was when the books started to be released over here in english.
I own all the DVD\'s and after episode 25 I nearly went insane trying to figure out what happens next, now it\'ll all come full circle soon enough through the books.
Anyone else a fan of the series?
and for those of you who are curious (and don\'t mind a lot of blood and a lil bit of sex) I urge you to check them out, a great way to waste many hours in a fantasy land.

I\'m slowly Netflixing the entire Cowboy Bebop series. Next up is LAIN and Fist of the North Star Vol 2.
Hold old is BERSERK and why do you need the books to see what happens after ep25?

I believe in Japan its about 10 years or older. The episodes follow the books however in Japan they only made 1 season of Berserk.
and out of all the way a show leaves you hanging after you get addicted to the characters...

The main character is forced to watch his lover raped by his best friend while he\'s being held down, while all his comrades are being slaughterd around him, then his right eye is cut out.
####END SPOILERS####
so needless to say I was curious to find out what happens to him, but seeing as the Japanese only made one season of it and up until a few months ago all Berserk manga was only available in Japanese.
My b-day is the day after xmas, and i\'ve asked for CB dvd\'s :D
so this christmas/birthday for me shall be very anime orientated.

I don\'t know anything about this series, but judging from the titles of the episode sets, and the descriptions of the stories, it appears to be influenced by Michael Moorcock. Is that right?

very very awesome anime
and yes ending does leave you guessing what happened next specially since you see him alone in the begining
this is the anime series that got my friend into anime when i showed him - he was just in awe
guess ill start looking around for the books as well :)

possibly Cored, I\'ve never really read anything about Kentaro Miura (creator of Berserk) so i\'m not too sure what influences him.
anyone else know any anime worth checking out?

BERSERK is awesome.

Cowboy Bebop just plain kicks ass. The final episode was awesome, yet a bit disappointing, and I have yet to see the movie (which everyone but ME has seen :rolleyes: )

On sabbatical. Living life and all that. On the topic of good anime, I like Wolf\'s Rain right up until the last episode, which sucked.
