Title: Need Help

I come home today to work on my pc. I was not home all much thankgiving weekend. I know people where over using my pc.

I really don\'t want people touching my puter but I don\'t wanna seem like a dick.

I come home and my task manager will not open at all.

I have ran virus scan, adware, checked my logs with hijackthis and nothing seems out of the ordinary.

This is the main reason why i hate letting people on my pc.


Anyone got any Ideas as to what has happen?

When that happened to me it was a damn virus.  Only other option I can think of is they enabled dual-monitor support and it\'s popping up on the other monitor which you probably don\'t have) but I doubt that\'s the answer.  If the pointer doesn\'t float off the screen totally then scratch that.

Try Googling it, I see several people with the same problem.

Norton ? remove it.

If you are a hacker, you would built your hack to work against most available resource. Explorer, Windows, Norton... program that 90% of the people use.

Umm I know better I never use norton

I am always on alert. I slipped up this time. Nobody else will use my pc.

I can\'t figure this out. I have no viruses. I have gotten rid of all spyware.
