Title: best ps2 games ever.
Post by: cyrilxgrey on December 05, 2004, 01:40:55 AM: im new to ps2 and i want to know what the best games ever are for the system. the games that i have now are final fantasy X, vice city, starwars battlefront, ratchet and klank, metal gear solid 2, and tribes: aerial assault. so you dont have to mention any of those. thanks alot.

Haven\'t got around to play Ratchet & Clank Up Your Arsenal. Jak 2 is trash in my opinion but I\'m seem to be alone in that assessment. Jak 3, from the little time I spent with it, seemed like an improvement.

But GT3 is definately up there if you like fairly in depth racers.

So many hours - and a quarter of that not even racing.

Drifting is so much fun.

Gotta give props for mentioning ICO too. Damn i need that game.

Though I would tend to agree, Nightfire has plenty of great appeal that Everything or Nothing just improves on slightly. And as I said, I took only games that were on the GH list and EoN is not.

but Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 is one of THE BEST fighters i\'ve ever played, Its the most funnest single player fighter i\'ve played in a very long time.

I agree thats the best game in a decade, for it combines, FPS,Strategy,Fighting all in one game.

Ive played the 3D0 version back in 1995, almost a decade ago.The music rocks, sets the mood for grim survival and suicide missions.

I still remember this " Ezzekiel!! Watch Your Back!!"

Genestealer smash his claw into your friends faceshield = loud shattered glass\' noise, followed by screams of death.Awesome.

Amazing how a lackluster graphical game can capture the atmosphere.

Post by: Zolar on December 25, 2004, 12:27:42 AM: If you like Platform games I reccomend Klonoa 2: Lunatea\'s Veil. I miss 2D Platform games! It\'s got a bit of 3D but Namco decided to keep it more of a 2D platform, and it rocks!
