GT4 comes out. Do you believe it? My local EB seems certain but they\'re not taking preorders. Weird. They said you come at 10am you\'re guaranteed one. So i\'m hoping...
-
I think you\'ve been lied too, the current EB release date is 2/22/05.
>>>see for yourself<<< (http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/236416.asp)

Yeah, the game was pushed into 2005, Magoo. Sorry man.
-
BIG bummer...
-
Way to keep up with the times man ;)
-
i knew it had been pushed back but i didnt want to believe how far it was pushed back.
I guess this just confirms it.
*throws a fit*

I went to EB and checked the current release dates sheet and that\'s what it said.. I knew it couldn\'t be true but who knows maybe it is. I hope I\'m not getting excited over nothing but whatever, I guess I\'ll buy another game if it doesn\'t come out or something.
I\'m just in the mood for a little gran turismo. It\'s about that time for it.:(

So does this mean that the online will be included?

No online mode in GT4. It will follow in another GT game later on.

I always found it funny that the GT series prided itself on being the "most realistic driving simulator" and the cars were indestructable lol
-
Well, it\'s a "driving" sim. It is sorta close to the real thing with a touch of arcadeness to make it more enjoyable. Ferrarri 355 is a true sim but not that fun for me.

i wouldn\'t want to see the cars become damaged....yea unrealistic i know...but still the game doesn\'t play THAT real for you not to get into accidents like that...70% of the time you\'re either rubbing into other cars or sometimes skimming the barrier..damage are more suited for games like burnout....

Exactly. Damage would be pretty kool until the point where it got too difficult because your car was too jacked up to run. The damage, if implemented, would be unrealistic. Theres no way that a human driver with a controller stick could be so acurate as to not hit a damn thing for a whole race.

355 - gosh - refuse to believe that a 355 handles how it does in that game. The turning and braking is pretty pathetic and even with the racing tires that it should have it slides like a mofo.
True sim? More like POS wannabe sim - or at least i would hope that no ferrari ran like that.

I think I\'ll wait until november 2006 to buy it, the way it\'s going, that will be the earliest anyone will have a chance of getting it.
How many times has it been put back now?
-
If u havent learned that Polyphony consistently pushes their Gran Turismos release date, u will this time.

Its for the better. They obviously found something that needs work. I\'d rather it get pushed back a year then them release it and suck.
