Title: Cologne recommendations
Post by: THX on December 14, 2004, 11:08:38 PM
I went to one of those smelly fragrance shops and Hugo Boss wasn\'t as good as I thought.  What do you think of these on this list?

Acqua Di Gio by Giorgio Armani
Fahrenheit by Christian Dior
Spirit by Antonio Banderas
Old Spice Aftershave

I\'m very interested in Antonio Banderas\' new cologne but no one seems to have it, gets sold out really quick.  Any nose connoisseurs (go ahead and check (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?r=2&q=connoisseur)) have any preferences?

Acqua Di Gio, but I\'m just a fan of Armani

I personally use Acqua Di Gio, because of the citrus scent, and colognes tend to smell sweeter on my skin. And Armani rocks :)

That and some cheap-ass Axe body spray...girls love that stuff...and it\'s friggin cheap ;)

Armani - Hands down the best cologne on the market. Not Aqua di gio just \'Armani\'

Tommy - Not Tommy Sport. The original Tommy Hilfiger cologne is great. Second only to Armani.

Perry Ellis - Another good one

Farenheit - My Dad\'s favorite so it tends to remind me of him but still a good choice.

Never liked Old Spice. Smells like an old man. The Old Spice Red Zone body spray is actually really good.

Curve - use to wear it all the time

Candies - I really like this stuff

Lucky is good too

Ill have to look for that Armani stuff.

Acqua Di Gio - very good, a favorite of mine.
Old Spice - um, my dad uses Old Spice. So unless you\'re 50+ stay away.

I don\'t know what the other two smells like.

I sometimes use Old Spice. It instantly disarms chicks. Also Caswell & Massey Sandalwood cologne. If it was good enough for George Washington, then it\'s good enough for me.

Liar. You give\'em beer and get\'em so drunk, they\'d screw a snake (even in Alaska).

Haha... My experience was- As soon as they get close enough to smell it, they go, "oh my god, you smell like my Dad/Grampa". Then they start getting closer and hugging you and shit. Time to work the charm. It\'s a proven Psychological fact that women want guys who remind them of their fathers...
