I heard a while ago that there would be a DVD release of the rated R version. Anyone know if its true?
Id been looking foreward to this movie for a while and it turned out to blow (because the retarded director got too caught up in a story line), and that Fox told him to make the movie PG-13 so they had to cut out a bunch of stuff.
Or did the director say that so it would look like Fox was to blame for a crappy movie?
-
it was made by Paul Anderson who has quite the rep of making horrible movies.
only for him its not a rep, his movies generally blow chunks.

I heard they were. I didn\'t see AvP in theaters but I will check this R-Rated version.

God...that film was like watching a WWE episode.
But with Aliens vs Predators.

the movie sucks monkey b0llocks, i dont know what rating the movie is but i got a pirate copy, and there doesn\'t appear to be any "R" material.
-
Supposedly, since Fox tried to rush it out, a lot of worthwhile R-rated scenes got chopped, and Fox suffered.
-
yea. I actually liked the story line a lot after i read that long thread we had. But the fact i had to read a bunch of background information to get what was going on was stupid.
Plus ill take a kick ass predator with a good/different story line than 3 crappy ones with a good story line. Won\'t even get into the feeling that babies would be made in the movie.
Im just hoping that the things they deleted shows more attacks from the aliens and preds. and PRAYING ridley scott or anyone else makes a second one.

I was laughing almost the entire movie. It\'s not a good movie at all, but I was entertained by the stupidity.
The pred and the lady should\'ve kissed.

That movie was one of the biggest letdowns of my life. I loved the AvP comic books, And that movie was just amazingly horrible.

For directors that have the last name of Anderson, you\'re probably going to want to stick to Wes.
